First Generation Ranchers

Our story

Our homestead journey with chickens and goats began in National City, CA in 2017, and the dream of owning a Ranch grew from there. The first day our hen laid her first egg, we we’re calling ourselves “farmers”.

In 2023, we made that dream a reality by purchasing our first property in Ramona, CA.

We keep making changes to our business and our property, our vision keeps evolving. We no longer offer overnight stays and have removed our mini cabins since December of 2025 BUT we are now offering Ranch-to-Table monthly events and they SALE OUT in the first week!

Julian and Michelle

Julian has been building since he was 19 years old. With a background in construction and a vision for what’s possible, there’s very little he can’t create. His ability to turn ambitious ideas into reality is what brought Wild Life Ranch to life. Every structure, every detail, and every corner of the ranch was built by his own hands.

My passion began in the kitchen. In my early twenties, I discovered a love for baking that led me to pursue formal training as a pastry chef. I spent three years running a whimsical cupcake business before realizing I wanted to create something even more meaningful—an experience that brought people together around exceptional food.

Together, we combined our passions. Julian’s love for the outdoors and craftsmanship, paired with my passion for authentic, natural ingredients and hospitality, inspired us to build a ranch centered around community, connection, and unforgettable meals.

Our commitment to health and fitness led us to take a closer look at the food we were eating, where it came from, and how the animals were raised. That journey sparked a deep appreciation for ranch-to-table living and strengthened our belief in supporting local farmers who share our values.

Today, we proudly call Ramona home. We built Wild Life Ranch from the ground up as first-generation ranchers, creating a place where people can gather, celebrate, and enjoy thoughtfully prepared meals made with locally sourced ingredients. Every experience we offer reflects the values we’ve built our lives around: quality, integrity, hard work, and community.
